"Sunturn" VRLA Colloid Battery's Characteristics and Advantages

The valve regulating sealed lead-acid battery is a product popularized in China. This product has the following specific advantages:

The sealed structure: We employ a unique technique in binding and sealing the battery's electrolytes and the battery's top. This will ensure a safe and effective operating condition regardless of the position placement of the battery without the fear of electrolytes leaking.

Absorption of Electrolytes: An ultra-thin glass fiber partition is used to absorb all the electrolytes in the partition and the board leaving no free electrolyte inside the battery.

Gas re-composition: various state of the art cathode absorption techniques are employed to ascertain that over 99% of the gas produced is re-composed.

Low-pressure exhaust system: a series of unidirectional security valves are used to ensure that the exhaust can be started automatically and effectively. This will allow extra gas built up within the battery to be dissipated providing extra security. The colloid Sealed Lead Acid batteries are used extensively in back up, standby, and main power application due to its low cost, large size, power availability and ease of charge. Colloid Sealed Lead Acid batteries withstands moderate to high temperatures during use and does extremely well in constant drain and constant charge conditions. It can handle high rate discharge in short increments.

Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) rechargeable batteries are designed to provide outstanding performance in withstanding overcharge, over-discharge, and resisting vibration and shock. Compact, these batteries save installation space while providing full and reliable power. The use of special sealing epoxies, tongue and groove case construction, long-sealing paths for posts and connectors assures that the battery will offer exceptional leak resistance, and allows them to be used in any position.

Maintenance free: users do not need to add water to the battery as a maintenance step. This is truly a maintenance free battery offering exceptional advantage over other battery types.

Long life span and low self-discharging rate: A state of the art lead and calcium poly-alloy plates are used allowing a long service life span. For the CVA type battery, the expectant service life would be 20 years. The self-discharge rate would be less than 4% of the rating capacity under room temperature on a monthly basis.

1.Technical Specifications:

1.1. Operating temperature range: "the general type" is in -10?+50? "The environment protection type" is in -20?+50?.
1.2. Charging current: batteries can be charged at a constant current of 2.4A to 14.7V which is the average cell voltage. Then it would further charged at a constant voltage to ensure the protection of the battery. At time of shipment, each cell has a 0.05V voltage deviation.
1.3. Discharge: When the battery is fully charged, it can discharge to 10.5V at a constant current of 5A. Discharge time would be approximately 125 minutes at 25 degree C.
1.4. Vibration resistant: The batteries are well designed to resist vibration during transportation. During normal transportation, there shall not be any leakage, damage, and deformation phenomena.
1.5. Cell voltage: the voltage of each cell should be = 13V when fully charged.
1.6. Charging requirement: When three batteries are used in series, the first phase is to charge at a constant current of 2.4A to the voltage 43.8?.3V. Then for the second phase, keep the voltage at 43.8?.3V and wait till the current dropped to lower than 360mA. For the third phase, keep the voltage at 41.5-0.5V and charge unrestrainedly until use.
1.7. Regulators: wanting voltage is 31.5+0.5V, over current protection is at 14?A.
1.8. Service Cycles: tested per JB/T10262-2001. "The General type" discharge=300 times; "the environment protection type" discharge=450 times (if the discharging time is <84 minutes, the service life of battery could be considered as finished).
1.9. The resuming characteristic of the capacity: following the discharge of "the environment protection type" battery by the OV with the initial current 5A, to short the two poles of the battery for 24 hour and then recharge to capacity. To repeat the test of discharge and short circuit for 5 times, each time the battery discharge at 10.5V, the released capacity could be superior to 90% of the initial capacity.
1.10. Serial number: Each battery can be individually serialized.
1.11. Size: length is<152mm; width is<100mm; height is<97mm. Detail specifications are provided by contacting the factory.
1.11. Appearance: The outward appearance of the battery will be neat, no crevice, no deformation, no leakage, no pollution and others phenomena.

2. Product Acceptance:

2.1. All the ex-factory battery take 100 as one batch and all submit the voltage measurement, all the battery in one packing case accord with the stipulation 1.2 and 1.5.
2.2.To take three battery out of the same packing case of each batch and to examine according to the stipulation 1.3, when the voltage is 10.5, the discharging time should be =125 minute (the three cycles is allowed), the difference of the discharging time between the three batteries should not be more than 2 minute.
2.3. The others requirements for the battery should accord with the stipulation 1.9, 1.10, 1.11.
2.4. When one of the above-mentioned three examinations is not conform to the stipulation, this batch can be judged no qualified.

3. The agreement:

3.1.For the battery for special use developed by our Company according to the technical requirements of electric bicycle, if the customer have the particulars requirements, our Company will satisfy as far as possible and give the answer in three days.
3.2.Within ten months from the day of leaving factory according to the bill or receipt of the agent , if the capacity of the battery ( take series as unit) fall more than or equal to 67% ,and according to the test and verification, the capacity is not going up again or not agree with the stipulation 1.7, our Company will change Gratuitously the new battery.
3.3. Our Company can ensure that all the indexes of the product will accord with the stipulation of the technical requirement , if the accident loss happened is as a result of the no agreeable article or of the quality problem of battery , our Company will be responsible for guarantee to change and for compensation To the related responsibility.
3.4.Our Company is gratis responsible for the reclamation of the wastes batteries to guard against the second pollution, on the basis of ?he industrial pact for the Chinese's enterprises of the electric bicycle and of the industry and commerce with regard to "the reclamation of the wastes battery and to the prevention of the second pollution"?
